Sachin Tendulkar was given a mobile guard of honour by the Indian team as he bid an emotional farewell to his cricket career, which also saw him crying for the first time ever.

The Indians did not let a single moment pass without them flanking the master blaster on both sides as he made an exit from the ground.

His final day of Test cricket comes exactly after 24 years and one day since he was handed his international cap, on November 15, 1989.

The West Indian team, too, gave him another guard of honour after they had lost the match.

Tendulkar came down to the presentation area with wife Anjali, daughter Sara and son Arjun, while the rest of the teammates followed and he waved.
