Sacked England batsman Kevin Pietersen is reportedly at peace that his international career is over.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had reportedly terminated the central contract of the former captain after England's disastrous tour of Australia.
According to Sport24, with England set to face Sri Lanka in the two-Test series that begins on 12 June, Pietersen has said that he would have no anger, no negative thoughts whatsoever when the team walks out without him at Lord's to play their first Test since the Ashes.
The South Africa-born cricketer said that he is grateful for what he has had and moved on with his life, adding that he has scored 13,500 international runs for England and it would be greedy of him to want more, so he is at peace with everything.
Pietersen further added that he wishes his friends in the England team well.
