Sadananda Gowda leaves to attend BJP parliamentary party meet

Union Railways Minister D.V Sadanada Gowda, who is going to present the first Railway Budget of the Narendra Modi government today, has left to attend the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) parliamentary party meet.

Other leaders like Vinod Khanna, Paresh Rawal and Dr Harshvardhan too have arrived for BJP's parliamentary party meet.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Railways, Manoj Sinha evaded queries related to the budget by saying that everything will be known at 12 pm today.

Railway Board Chairman Arunendra Kumar also said today that detailed planning has been done to benefit common man from the Railway Budget.

Kumar told ANI, "What we would like to show in this budget is the use of technology for the benefit of common man in almost all areas of working. Issues related to ticketing, catering, safety, punctuality or any other related area will be looked after.
