The safety of women will remain the main priority of the state police, said Odisha's Director General of Police (DGP) Abhaya here on Thursday.
The DGP was speaking at the 12th foundation day celebration of the Bhubaneswar Commissionerate held at the 7th Battalion ground here.
Police Commissioner Sudhansu Sarangi said that Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate building will be renamed as the Police Seva Bhawan.
Apart from the DGP and the Police Commissioner, many retired police officers were present on the occasion.
