The Congress Party on Saturday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has turned into Khaas Aadmi Party and have been rightly abbreviated as KHAP.

"The Aam Aadmi Party has now got converted into Khaas Aadmi Party and rightly abbreviated as KHAP. Incidentally, we would not have any objections if they want a salary rise if they had paid the salaries of the sanitation workers, if they had paid the old age pension and pension for the handicapped. 21 secretaries have been appointed along with 28 consultants. What are we facing? This government which came and gave a signed affidavit on June 7, 2013, saying they would not accept security, would not use the houses of the state, would not use official cars, today its demands have increased," Congress spokesperson Tom Vadakkan told ANI here.

"Chief Minister Kejriwal's electricity bill, I have been told is one lakh a month. This is the same Chief Minister, who had talked about identification with a common man. And now, his subordinates want additional salary," he added.

A delegation of 20 AAP legislators had yesterday met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanding a hike in their salaries.
