Russian foreign ministry said it will consider a request for assistance by Petrov, Boshirov, if they wish to ask ministry.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow is planning to hold a demarche in relation to the United States's new insinuations on the case of Russian national Maria Butina.

"We will hold a new demarche in the State Department in connection with the insinuations of American official structures against us on Maria Butina's case," Zakharova said at a briefing.
