Salman case: SC dismisses plea to transfer case to Delhi

Salman's appeal against his five-year jail term in the hit-and-run case is currently pending before the Bombay High Court

The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed the petition filed by the mother of a deceased Mumbai police constable, seeking transfer of Bollywood actor Salman Khan's 2002 hit-and-run case from Mumbai to Delhi.

Salman's appeal against his five-year jail term in the hit-and-run case is currently pending before the Bombay High Court.
