Salman's fans celebrate his latest Friday 'release'

With the Bombay High Court suspending Salman Khan's sentence in the 2002 hit-and-run-case on Friday, the Dabangg star's fans gathered outside his residence in celebration.

Distributing sweets amidst an atmosphere of revelry, Salman's fans were also seen dancing to the title track of his movies.

Meanwhile, a group of fans burst firecrackers in celebration.

Earlier in the day, the Bombay High Court suspended Salman's five year sentence in the case. With this ruling, he will not be taken to jail. However, he will first have to go to the Sessions Court in order to execute a fresh bail bond because his two-day interim bail ends today.

 

On Wednesday, a Mumbai Sessions Court found Salman guilty of culpable homicide and sentenced him to five years imprisonment in connection with the 2002 hit-and-run case, where he ran over a homeless person and injured four others.

However, the Bombay High Court did grant him a two-day interim bail .
