Sam Smith recently achieved a chart feat that was previously managed only by The Beatles by spending almost a year in the top five with his debut album.
The Official Charts Company claimed that the 23-year-old singer's 'The Lonely Hour' has already logged 50 weeks in the top five, which is the best performance since the Beatles' 1963 LP 'Please Please Me,' reports the Mirror.
Commenting on his success, the 'Lay Me Down' hit-maker said that this statistic genuinely made him feel weird and insanely happy at the same time.
Smith also thanked his fans who purchased his album.
