Samsung has filed a 'patent-infringement' case against Apple saying that the American multinational infringed the '239 patent in its iPhone through the use of FaceTime.
According to CNET, Samsung's first witness, Michael Freeman testified about the creation of the '239 patent for video transmission, saying that he, along with his family, invented the technology in the early 1990s and received a patent in 1994.
He added that they sold the patent to Samsung in October 2011 for 2.3 million dollars.
