Electronics manufacturer Samsung is reportedly going to unveil its Ativ Book 9 Plus laptops for pre-order in the US on August 18, which is conceived to be the 'highest resolution 13-inch laptop'.
According to Cnet, the Ativ Book 9 Plus offers a 13.3-inch screen with a hefty resolution of 3,200x1,800 pixels and with the Gorilla Glass, the display is 2.8 times sharper than a full HD screen priced at 1,399 dollars.
The screen is designed to hold its brightness even under sunny outdoor conditions and the display panel can tilt back to 180 degrees and lock in at 110 degrees to provide a more solid touch-screen feel and is Windows 8 enabled.
Apart from the high-resolution laptop, the company is also going to launch its Ativ Tab 3 priced at 699.99 dollars which will be available to consumers from September 1.
The tablet has a 10.1-inch five-point touch screen with a resolution of 1,366x768 with a 720p camera in the front and a 2-megapixel model in the rear, the report added.
