Samsung used Jobs death to strike back at Apple

Samsung reportedly took Steve Jobs' death as the right time to attack iPhone, some leaked e-mails from the South Korean smartphone company's executive has revealed.

According to The Mashable, Michael Pennington, the company's VP of sales for North America in October 2011, the month Jobs died, reportedly wrote that this is the right time for Samsung to attack iPhone.

Samsung Chief Marketing Officer, Todd Pendleton replied to Pennington that they would execute the recommendation in Galaxy SII holiday campaign.

He added that they are working on a very aggressive strategy touting their advantages in hardware and software.
