The sanitation workers staged a protest against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government and the Centre in East Delhi on Monday demanding payment of pending salaries of the last three months.

The sanitation workers took out a protest march from Radhu palace to Laxmi Nagar metro station to vent their ire.

The indefinite strike by the sanitation workers of the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC), which entered its fourth day today, left the trans-Yamuna region reeling under a garbage crisis, with waste dumped in the open in several areas from Laxmi Nagar to Patparganj.
