Renowned film lyricist and poet Santosh Anand on Saturday requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to order a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the suicide case of his son and daughter-in-law.

"I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to order a CBI probe and inquiry from other investigating agencies into the matter and also provide security to my family," said Santosh.

Terming his son and daughter in law's death to be a conspiracy, he added that many big names are involved in this case.

"I had only one son who died and along with him my daughter-in-law also died. I think that it's a major conspiracy. I have my granddaughter left with me. I am concerned about the security of my family and now my only demand is that I think the Uttar Pradesh will not be able to give us justice because many big names are involved in it," he said.

Meanwhile, Sankalp's uncle said that those who pressurized his nephew to commit suicide should be punished and demanded that his family should be given adequate security.

"We just want that the ones who have pressurized him should be punished and we should get justice. We should also be provided security. Somebody must have definitely pressurized him. As big names are involved so we are scared as they can do anything," he said.

Sankalp committed suicide along with his wife by jumping before a train in Mathura earlier this week. According to reports, the couple jumped before the train along with their daughter on Wednesday. While the two died, the daughter suffered head injuries.

According to reports, Sankalp had before committing suicide parked his car near Delhi-Agra railway tracks in Mathura's Kosikalan area leaving an eleven page note accusing some people for implicating false cases against him and, thereby, holding them responsible for the death.
