Sarah Brightman has revealed that she is working with her former husband Andrew Lloyd Webber on the song that she will be performing in space.

The British soprano, who will take off on a Russian Soyuz on September 1 and will spend 10 days in the International Space Station (ISS), which is 420 km above Earth, said that this would be a very different experience than performing on land, BBC News reported.

The 54-year-old said that her team was trying to work out the technical details of performing on the ISS and expressed her desire to connect with a choir, or children or another singer or an orchestra on Earth while performing in microgravity.

The 'Phantom of the Opera' singer explained that she was planning to sing something very simple and beautiful but not complicated.
