Sarah Palin has recently denounced all the allegations made by PETA and called them hypocrites for criticizing the photos of her son standing on a dog.

The former governor of Alaska said that it was all sweet and cute when PETA's Woman of the Year in 2009, Ellen DeGeneres posted a similar picture of a young child standing on a dog, and even when PETA's Man of the Year for 2014, Bill de Blasio killed a groundhog when he dropped it last year on Groundhog Day, E! Online reported.

The American politician even mentioned President Obama's statement in which he previously said that he ate a dog in his childhood, with this Palin supported her son because at least he just used him as a stepping stool and didn't ate him.

The 50-year-old former governor explained in a statement to NBC News that there was no harm done to their Labrador Retriever when her 6-year-old son Trig stood on the pet's back as he was well trained to help those with challenges

Palin added that she and her family love their pet Jill Hadassah a lot and even the pup was very much attached to the family and especially her son who has "Down Syndrome.
