Former Pakistani Test cricketer, Sarfaraz Nawaz backed Test captain Misbah-ul-haq for the captaincy of the Pakistan Twenty20 team.
Mohd. Hafeez recently gave up his T20 captaincy after the team's failure to qualify for the semi-finals of the World T20 in Bangladesh.
Sarfraz said Misbah is a consistent scorer and never gives up whenever the team is in trouble for which the team needs him back.
Meanwhile, legendary batsman Javed Miandad insisted on a new, fair and just captain who plays for the country, not just for himself.
Shoaib Akhtar said that the team needs a good captain and that they lost the T20 World Cup due to own mistakes.
