SAS troops have claimed that Princess Diana, her beau Dodi Fayed and her driver Henri Paul's death in a Paris car crash was no accident, but a murder plot.
A source told the Daily Express that there has always been a view among certain members of the regiment that Diana's death was not an accident.
The insider, however, asserted that the particular view was not shared by everyone but there is a core of soldiers who believe that she was killed.
The source added that if one looks at all the factors involved in Diana's death and then passes off her death as an accident, the scenario just doesn't ring true.
The alleged involvement of the SAS was first reported by a former sniper of the regiment, Soldier N, whose controversial claims are currently being assessed by Scotland Yard.
