The very popular TV series 'Satyameva Jayate' is not on-air for a year now because the team is busy working on Maharashtra's water crisis.
"Our show is not on TV now as the whole team is working on water crisis in Maharashtra. Our whole team is in different villages of Maharashtra. I will visit next month," said Aamir Khan while addressing the media here on his 51st birthday.
"We are on ground, and will do like this for next four-five years," he added.
'Satyameva Jayate' had its three seasons till now; first in 2012 and second and third during first and last halves of 2014.
The show, which focuses on sensitive social issues prevalent in India, has been facing legal troubles due to its title.
Recently, the Bombay High Court has sought a response from Aamir and Star TV to a PIL by an activist, taking objection to the use of words 'Satyameva Jayate' for their television program.
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs, however, in its affidavit, responded that the use of the phrase was not violating the Act and Rules. The court also directed Star TV and Aamir Khan to file their affidavits by April 20.
