Saudi Arabia puts 'terror group' tag on Muslim Brotherhood

Saudi Arabia has reportedly designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group.

The statement, made by the Interior Ministry, was cited by an official Saudi television.

According to News 24, the kingdom has also designated Nusra Front and the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, whose fighters are battling Syrian President Bashar Assad, as terrorist organizations.

Meanwhile, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television had earlier reported the official declaration.
