Saudi Arabia's top religious figure Grand Mufti of the Ka'aba Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh said in his annual Haj sermon that the extremist Islamic State militants were the enemies of humanity.
Grand Mufti said while addressing millions of Muslims from around the world in Makkah for the Haj that conspiracies were being plotted against Muslims and that some actions in the Muslim world were enemies of humanity.
According to Dawn, he urged Muslims around the world to avoid sectarianism which he believed was weakening the religion.
The extremist activities were only spilling the blood of the innocent people, said Grand Mufti.
