The Supreme Court on Friday instructed Delhi's Lieutenant-Governor (LG) Anil Baijal to set up an expert committee to frame policies and remedial measures in addressing garbage menace in the capital.
The Supreme Court had recently pulled up the LG for not taking productive steps in solving the garbage disposal problems in the city.
The top court's two-judge bench headed by Justice Madan Bhimrao Lokur also instructed the municipal authorities to look for effective garbage disposal methods.
