Stricken Formula One legend Michael Schumacher's 15-year-old son has signed a deal in Formula 4 and is set to race in the series for promising, young drivers.
Mick Schumacher, second in the German kart championship last season, would be driving for Van Amersfoort Racing.
The Dutch team's owner, Frits van Amersfoort said that they have watched Mick's skills in test driving and are looking forward to a successful season, the BBC reported.
Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher is continuing his rehabilitation following a serious skiing accident in December 2013.
The German, who spent nine months in hospital after suffering life-threatening head injuries, is the most successful driver in Formula One history with seven titles between 1994 and 2004.
The Formula One legend's son begins his Formula 4 career in Germany on 25 April, the report added.
