Scotland's top prosecutor has reiterated his belief that Abdelbaset al-Megrahi is guilty of killing of 270 people in the Lockerbie bombing wherein the Pan Am flight exploded in the south of Scotland on 21st December in 1988.
According to BBC, Lord Advocate Frank Mulholland said that no Crown Office investigator or prosecutor had raised concern about the evidence used to convict Megrahi.
Megrahi's part in the bombing has been questioned in a series of books and documentaries.
A petition seeking "Justice for Megrahi", that was backed by politicians and some victims' family members remains on the Scottish Parliament's books even two years after his death.
Megrahi was convicted over mass murder in Lockerbie case in 2001.
