'Britain's Got Talent' star Susan Boyle has said that Scotland can keep its identity without breaking away from the UK.
The 52-year-old insisted that the Union makes financial sense.
She said that she strongly believes that Scotland should be a part of Britain.
She said she is proud and passionate about her country and its heritage, insisting that they have retained their identity while being a part of Britain, the Daily Express reported.
She added that she shares the same concerns, which other citizens do with regard to independence, but warned against the drawbacks of it.
Boyle, whose late parents were Irish, said that she is proud to call herself Scottish and British.
