Congress leader Rashid Alvi on Saturday maintained that the seat-sharing adjustments with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Maharashtra will be worked out soon and, therefore, it was not a cause of concern.

"There is nothing to be worried about. The NCP and the Congress will work out between them with regard to the sharing of seats. Whenever seats are distributed, it is not surprising that parties look for getting more seats to contest; however, this will soon be resolved," Alvi told ANI here.

According to reports ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly polls, the Congress and NCP are still stuck with seat sharing adjustments with the former only ready to part ways with a marginal nine seats to the latter this time. Hectic parleys are on to find out whether a post-poll alliance will suit this time for the two parties in Maharashtra.
