Security has been tightened across Chhattisgarh ahead of the second phase of assembly elections.
This was done after security forces recovered fourteen bombs in Maoist-affected Mahasamund District. The bombs were recovered from the Komakhan area of the district by a joint team of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the state police following an encounter with Maoists.
Elections will be held in 72 constituencies on Tuesday next week.
