Senior Pak leader says NAB might reopen cases against Zardari

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan has reportedly said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) might reopen cases against Asif Ali Zardari.

Ahsan said that Zardari enjoyed immunity as the president of the country but the bureau might take action after his departure from the Presidency.

According to the Daily Times, Ahsan further said that there was no constitutional restriction on the president with regard to taking part in politics.

Meanwhile, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his father, President Zardari sacrificed more than 11 years of his life as a political prisoner fighting for democracy in Pakistan.
