World number one Serena Williams will have a third go to equal Steffi Graf's record of 22 when she will head into the second major of the season, the French Open, starting from Sunday.
The American has bagged only three of her 21 Grand Slam titles in France, first in 2002 before claiming it again in 2013 and 2015.
Williams, who recently ended her nine-month title drought at the Rome Masters, ruled out feeling any kind of pressure heading into Roland Garros, Sport24 reported.
She said that her mindset has completely changed now, adding that she doesn't have to prove anything to anyone and is just required to defend her title.
Last week, Williams overcame fellow countrywomen Madison Keys 7-6 (5), 6-3 in the summit showdown in Italy to clinch her 70th career title and first clay-court title since 2002.
The top-ranked will play against Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova in the opening round of the French Open.
