World number one Serena Williams swept aside her Spanish opponent Carla Suarez Navarro with a comfortable straight-sets win to bag her eighth
Miami Open title on Saturday night.
The 19-time Grand Slam champion required only 56 minutes to thump Navarro 6-2, 6-0 to secure her third straight title at Crandon Park.
Reflecting on her performance, Williams said that it felt really good to have eight under her belt, maintaining that she is getting better with age, the BBC reported.
Williams, who is on a 21-match winning streak, will now head to Europe for the clay-court season unbeaten in 2015.
