Chelsea suffered a heavy blow as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out after after undergoing surgery on his right knee.
Confirming the news, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Courtois,who suffered from knee injury during training session., will be out for 'quite a long time'.
Mourinho said that it is disappointing to have the best goalkeeper in the world injured, but revealed that former Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic could step up in place of Courtois, the Guardian reported.
Chelsea will next take on Everton in their Premier League match on Saturday.
