Seven criminals were arrested on Wednesday from a base camp set up here, along with some pistols and cartridges.
"On the night of 14th and 15th, a company building of rail line people was visited by these people. They gave a number to the employees asking them to tell their owner to call them," said Police Commissioner Ranjit Kumar Prasad.
"All of the arrested are local criminals and stay at nearby villages. After receiving the information, our team raided the villages and arrested seven people with pistols and cartridges," he added.
The senior police official further said that looted mobiles and sims were also received from them.
"All of them are unemployed who want to earn easy money," he said.
