At least seven people were injured when a bus carrying 26 people met with an accident in Mulya village located in Devprayag of Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, on Sunday.
One woman is still believed to be trapped in the bus as the rescue operations are underway.
The injured have been rushed to the base hospital in Garhwal region.
The passengers, said to from Karnataka, were returning from a visit to Badrinath when the ill-fated accident took place.
The ITBP force has been rushed to the spot for rescue operations.
