Television and other media reports said that the state transport bus fell into the valley at Malsej Ghat in Maharashtra after being rammed by a tempo.
There were 40-odd people travelling on the bus.
Rescue operations are underway at the accident site, but the geographical location is hampring the work. More details are awaited.
