Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah lashed out at the Congress Party on Saturday, saying, the fact that it could not even become the principal opposition party in parliament, was not an ordinary happening, but a significant change hopefully for the better.
Addressing a national council meeting of the BJP here, Shah said this year's election result was a defeat of parties that indulge in vote-bank politics, and urged NDA ministers to remain focused on the promises made in the BJP's manifesto.
He also said that every sector requires a lot of work in the wake of the Congress Party's decade-long mismanagement of policies.
Shah also stressed on the need to rejuvenate the River Ganga.
