Shahbaz says India-Pak must resort to 'dialogue' for peace

Pakistan's Punjab Chief Minister has reportedly said that India and Pakistan must resolve issues through effective dialogue and maintain a cordial relationship.

Addressing a ceremony held in connection with Delhi-Lahore-Delaware Partnership, Shahbaz said that all the countries in the world should resort to mediums of dialogue, understanding and communication to help promote international peace.

Shahbaz said that India and Pakistan needed to live as good neighbors, adding that war between India and Pakistan have resulted in nothing but poverty, unemployment and devastation to the people, the Nation reported.

He further said that India and Pakistan should utilize their resources for the progress, prosperity and welfare of their people.

 

The ceremony that was attended by members of American delegation, senior officials and personalities belonging to different sectors aimed at promoting people to people contacts between India, Pakistan and America.
