Demanding Vaidik's apology, Siddqui said that he should not have met Saeed.
"I respect Ved Pratap Vaidik, but I criticise this, he should not have met Hafiz Saeed. By meeting him and giving him respect, in a way he has given recognition to this man. It's an insult to anybody who has been opposing this person. The way that person has supported terrorism that is dangerous for our country and Muslims too. He should apologize to the country," said Siddiqui.
Earlier today, Vaidik had courted a controversy after his picture with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed was released.
He, however, said that the photograph was released by him and he had met Saeed on July 2 in Lahore and had an hour long chat with him.
