Congress leader, Shakeel Ahmed on Sunday while clarifying on his tweet about prime minister designate Narendra Modi said that Modi seeking ten years just after results were out against his earlier demand for sixty months to rule the country is equal to fooling people.

"One must not fool the people. In his election rallies he had sought for sixty months, now he is seeking ten years which means 120 months just after the results were out. It is shameful that one is hoodwinking the people even just before assuming office. So why is he changing his statement?

I just commented (tweeted)on this. So cheating people is not right," Ahmed said.

"He says that the CAG report should not be used as a political weapon but he is now using that as a weapon also now he is nudging towards Pakistan when there is no end to cross border terrorism, that why I had tweeted giving reference to the idea tagline which says 'public should not be fooled'," Ahmed added.

Congress leader, Shakeel Ahmed has reportedly tweeted saying, "Modi asked for 60 months for himself against 60 yrs of Congress. Now asking for 10 yrs(120 months). Idea says "Public ko Ullu mat Banao (do not fool the public).
