Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday slipped and fractured his leg during a morning walk at his Janpath bungalow here.
NCP leader Nawab Malik said that Pawar was airlifted to Mumbai as he wished to be admitted to Breach Candy Hospital.
"He said that he wanted to be admitted in the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was lifted from Delhi to Mumbai to admit him to Breach Candy Hospital. He has a minor fracture in the leg, there is nothing serious," .
According to reports, Pawar's wife Pratibha, and daughter, Supriya Sule, are accompanying him.
