Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Quetta to chair an All Parties Conference (APC) on law and order in Balochistan.
The Dawn said Sharif was welcomed by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch and his cabinet.
The APC will be held at the Governor House and has been convened to evolve a strategy to prevent incidents such as what happened in Mastung.
At least 20 people were killed and several injured when unknown militants opened fire on kidnapped passengers in the Mastung area of Balochistan.
Other issues related to the province are also likely to be discussed, the report said.
