Reacting to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's comment that if unresolved the Kashmir issue may lead to a fourth war between India and Pakistan, , Janata Dal United (JD-U) Party leader K.C Tyagi said Nawaz Sharif is acting on the instructions of the terrorist organizations controlling their nation.
"I don't know why Nawaz Sharif has made such a statement. He has seen the outcome of the wars that have happened earlier and Pakistan got well deserved answer in all those wars. It was declared long time back that Kashmir is a part of India," said Tyagi.
"He should bother about the poverty in his country and internal terrorism. India has developed as a powerful country. While elections were going on, he affirmed that he wants friendly relations with India. With terrorist organizations controlling their nation, Nawaz Sharif is acting on their instructions," he added.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday said if Pakistan goes on a war against India they will lose again just like they have been losing all the other wars against India.
"If it is Sharif's desire to go on a war against India, we do not mind. They have lost all the wars in the past, they will lose again. Kashmir has and always will always remain an integral part of India. Pakistan should stop terrorist activities," said Ravi Shankar Prasad.
He added that what really concerned him was the indifference of the Indian government and their keenness on talking to Pakistan, which is not at all interested in sorting out issues.
Nawaz Sharif suggested an early settlement of the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiris in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Council meeting.
He said Pakistan did not want to indulge in an arms race with India and would adhere to the cease-fire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC).
Sharif reiterated that he has been highlighting the Kashmir issue at international forums, including the UN General Assembly and during his meeting with President Barack Obama.
