Australian batsman Shaun Marsh's Proteas tour is doubted owing to his calf injury sustained during the one-day international at Adelaide Oval last week.
Marsh left the field in the 36th over of England's innings and didn't return in Australia's thrilling five-run win in the one-day international and was immediately treated by team physio.
According to news.com.au, skipper Michael Clarke is hoping that Marsh's injury isn't too bad for the left-hander to miss the tour.
However, Marsh's international journey being marred by back, hamstring and knee injuries is likely to stress medicos and could possibly make him sit out for the South African Test tour.
The report said that Australia's tour of South Africa begins with a tour match in Potchefstroom on February 5, while the series opener against Graeme Smith's champion outfit starts February 12 at Centurion.
