Sheila E., The Roots, D'Angelo and Janelle Monae are among the artists, who will pay special tribute to legendary singer Prince at the 2016 BET Awards later this month.
The BET Network disclosed the performers' names on Prince's birthday on June 7, saying the star-studded moments, celebrating the life and career of the late singer will be shown through the performances of the artists, Channel 24 reports.
The names of the other stars, who would be performing at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 26, are likely to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The BET Network had honoured the legendary rocker with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.
Prince died from a fentanyl overdose at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota, on April 21, 2016, at the age of 57.
