Sherwood student Shaan Prajapati's mother Neena on Wednesday put forward a request to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the matter of her son's death in Noida earlier this month.
"I would like the Indian Government to look into this matter, to seek a fair, transparent inquiry into this matter because there are a lot of ambiguities relating to my son's death. Although I have filed an FIR, I want the Indian government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into this matter so that true facts come out," said Neena.
"I have met Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and have requested him to raise the issue with Prime Minister Modi. We are trying to seek an appointment with PM Modi but we have not received information so far," she added.
Shaan who was a student of class ninth in Sherwood school of Nainital, had died of septicemia at a private hospital in Noida on November 14.
His mother has alleged that her son had died because of school negligence.

Narrating the entire trauma which Shaan's family members have gone through during his illness and how the school negligence took his life, Neena complained that the school authorities informed her very late about her son's illness.
"I got a call from the school very late that my son was admitted in ICU, the school did not inform me beforehand when he was sick. I came to know only when he was taken at the ICU and at the very last stage, because I got the information from the doctors that his BP was getting very low and even the oxygen in his body was very low and with external support it was only 85 percent."
She also accused the school authorities for giving her son a very light treatment and not taking her illness seriously.
"The first issue is that the school did not inform me beforehand and even when he was sick the sister of the school told me that Shaan had complained that he was not able to sleep for two consecutive nights and that he had breathing difficulty. But even at that time whatever the treatment the school may have given him was very light. They did not consider it very serious and did not give him proper treatment," she added.
"My son had apparently talked to the house master that he was not keeping well the night before but then the house master had told him to wait a day. So proper medical treatment was not given to him on time, and then after he was taken to the ICU we got in the touch with the doctors who were looking after him and then we got a call from Mr. Sandhu the principal at about 9 'o' clock saying that he has to be now transported to Delhi for better medical treatment," Neena further said.
Neena also told ANI that the school authorities transported her son to Delhi when he was on ventilator.
"We were very skeptical because at that time they had already put him in ventilator and we were skeptical about how is it possible that someone in ventilator could be transported to Delhi. The principal assured us that the ambulance was full quipped ambulance with doctor will be present and it had ventilator also. He also said to us that the traffic time would take less because it had a special lane for ambulance so the travel time would be less. He also assured that somebody would be accompanying Shaan, and gave us the number of Dr, Vijendra, who would be in the ambulance," Neena said.
She added that when they tried to contact the person accompanying Shaan in the ambulance there was no response.
"At 1 'o' clock, we got a call from Mr. Sandhu saying that he had now been transported in the ambulance, and then, when we tried to contact the number that we were provided, firstly there was no response, either there would be no response or the phone would be switched off, and finally when this guy called up, we found out that he was not a doctor he was a technician," Neena added.
She further alleged that the school authorities lied to them that they had sent a doctor with Shaan.
"My son was transported to Delhi in an ill equipped ambulance without a doctor and the person accompanying form the school was an informal attendant and he had no medical knowledge. My son who was in ICU in such a critical stage was just sent in an ambulance like that with no doctor present in the ambulance and no responsible person from the school that could take decisions," Neena complained.
She told ANI that she saw her son's body in school uniform.
"We got to Delhi at about 4 'o' clock then when we reached Noida, it was about 6 'o' clock, I asked that I want to see my son so when I looked at my son in the mortuary I saw that he was still in school uniform, so this all raises very deep questions, so it's not very clear," she also said.
Shaan's mother, and Uncle Ujjwal Thapa who was a former Sherwood student, had reportedly met Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.
Reports also say that Koirala has promised to take up their appeal with Prime Minister Modi on the sidelines of a SAARC summit in Kathmandu.
