The much awaited film based on Indian social activist Anna Hazare, whose hunger strike caused a stir in the country, began its shooting on Friday.
Shashank Udapurkar's directorial, which is being shot in Hazare's native village Ralegan Siddhi in Ahmednagar district, stars actress Tanishaa Mukerji in the role of a journalist, reports the Dawn.
The scenes from the famous JanLokpal bill rally were shot on the first day of the shoot.
The film, which has got a green light from Hazare himself, will zoom into his life from his childhood days to his enlisting in the army and his ultimate return to his hometown to raise his voice against the raging corruption.
