Disapproving the kind of language used by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, actor-politician Shatrughna Sinha on Wednesday questioned the timing of the raid conducted on the Delhi Secretariat and hoped it would not boomerang on the government.

"Don't approve of avoidable language of Delhi CM about our dashing dynamic action hero PM. But need to look within. How why & who started it? In politics, timing is everything. This was definitely not the right time for the raid. Hope wish &pray that this does not boomerang on us," said Sinha.

Sinha said Parliament was still in session and Kejriwal was still a favourite with the masses.

"Wonder who advised for the strike, that too, while Parliament was in session. After all, the CM is not only very popular, but the masses' favorite too," he said.

"Good sense must prevail upon those who have brought embarrassment to our people and our leadership...that too at this juncture," he added.

Kejriwal on Tuesday had claimed the CBI has raided his office in central Delhi and launched a no-holds barred attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he was resorting to "cowardice".

The chief minister, who is involved in a prolonged tussle with the Centre, accused the Modi government of resorting to vendetta politics.
