Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram on Friday climbed seven places to be placed 25th in the latest Badminton World Federation rankings after finishing runner-up at the recently concluded Korea Open Superseries.
Jayaram produced a rampaging form throughout the tournament before going down against top seed Chen Long in the summit clash in Seoul last week.
Earlier this year, the 27-year-old had also reached the semi-finals of the Russian Open, Swiss Open and Malaysia Masters.
Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal held on to the top spot in the women's singles rankings and P.V. Sindhu is at 13.
