Sidhartha Sur has taken over as the Executive Director Chief, Corporate Planning of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in New Delhi.
Sur has so far been responsible for development activities for all fields of ONGC, encompassing conventional and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) means. He was instrumental in placing ONGC and India in particular on the world map of EOR through successful application of In Situ Combustion process.
In 2012, he has been awarded with SPE Latin American and Caribbean Regional award on Completion Optimization and Technology.
He has numerous publications to his credit in SPE and in other forums, mainly in Air Injection, Steam Injection and Gas Injection processes.
