The Sikh community in Pakistan has protested against allegations of attacks on Gurudwaras in Karachi, Shikarpur and other areas of Sindh.

The protestors demanded the safety and security of their holy sites and deemed affirmation from Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan.

According to The Express Tribune, protestors managed to enter the premises of the Parliament House by breaking the gate despite a heavy contingent of police personnel being present at the location.

However, the situation seemed to have been under control as the protestors were seen to dispel the scene.

Reports have further added that condemning the attacks on Sikh places of worship, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said all places of worship should be protected and those responsible for attacking them should be punished.
