Simon Cowell has leased a private jet to be kept on stand-by so he can fly to New York from London when his pregnant gal-pal Lauren Silverman goes into labour.
The 54-year-old star, who is due to become a dad this month, has booked the plane so he can cover the eight-hour journey as quickly as possible, People magazine reported.
A source told the publication that Cowell, who is currently filming live auditions for the next series of Britain's Got Talent, is planning to work the visit around the show so he doesn't miss an episode of filming.
